!DEATH: Date from e-mail to Weldon Whipple from R. Gilebarto, 22 Feb 1998. Noah traded between New London, Ct, and the West Indies and contracted Small Pox on one of his trips. Hiw will was probated 7 Jun 1774, as listed in state probate records. His children received a distribution on 24 Jul 1786, and his wife received a distribution (then Gowdy) on 15 Aug 1785. He was the first husband of Hope Whipple, daughter of Zachariah Whipple and Elizabeth Rogers.
